On A Day of Kindness, there will be an art installation at City Hall titled Kindness in the Wind, which will consist of thousands of small, colorful flags carrying messages of hope, peace, love, and kindness. The flags will be created through organizations and by individuals – citizens of all ages, races, and religions – who, collectively, will become a chorus paying tribute to the human spirit at its best. Citizens can make their flags at pop-up flag-making stations at various museums and businesses throughout the City in the months of September and October.
